And while one band is losing a bassist, another is gaining one...I'm talking about Smashing Pumpkins here.
Like Interpol, they once lost a bassist, and they also have an upcoming album project and tour in the near future. The only difference is Smashing Pumpkins just got itself a new bassist. Nicole Fiorentino will replace former replacement bassist Ginger Pooley.
Things have been a-twitter recently with speculation on whether Nicole would officially be in the band, but she herself confirmed the news on her Myspace Page.
