New York's Hesta Prynn is a firecracker, not just because of her red hair, but because her music is hot! It's got elements of indie hip-hop, progressive pop, and electro. If you dig Santigold, M.I.A. and Miike Snow, you'll like Hesta Prynn. She was the former MC of the all girl hip-hop group Northern State releasing three albums with the band.

In 2008 Hesta Prynn went her own way, and her solo project was born. Teaming up with producer Chuck Brody of the Wu-Tang Clan, Hesta created her debut album, "Seven Sisters."
