Out with the Old, Interpol with the New

Attention All Interpol Fans!

I'm sure you've heard, and if you haven't, now you know...Interpol is getting amped for their newest album release and tour coming up in July. The highly anticipated fourth album from the band is sure to be a top notch effort.

The band stated on their website, "The four of us poured our collective heart into this music and we are very proud and excited to share it." Apparently Carlos D.,the bassist poured so much of himself into the album that he had nothing left to give.

After recording what is sure to be an epic album, he has decided to depart the band to pursue other goals and projects, some of which include compositions for commercials, and films. The band made an official announcement on their website stating, "This separations is amicable, and we whole-heartedly wish him great happiness and success. We will remain, as always, deeply respectful fans of this blazingly talented individual."

The band will continue on with their tour, and future efforts sans Carlos, and will even be testing out some "new recruits." Fans will surely miss the mustache, bass slappin', and dapper digs of Carlos D.
