Saw this in the window of the Fe Gallery one day while window shopping in downtown Sacramento. There's an eerie-beauty behind the paintings of 53-year old Sacramento artist, Michael Bookout. Slightly reminiscent of some of Tim Burton's earlier work, there's also humor behind the darkness in his pieces, which is surely derived from his background in comics and literature.
