Tegan and Sara announced on their website the release of their new album, Sainthood Social last week on October 27. This is the 6th album from the sisters, and it explores faith and love, something which both of them have grappled with in their lives, even with each other. For their past albums, most of the writing was done separately, as the two of them live on opposite sides of the country.
Sainthood was an opportunity for the two sisters to write the album together side by side the way nature intended. The album is described as electro-pop, with that 80's feel that has been creeping up in music lately. Whether you're a die hard T and S fan, or a sporadic listener, this album is sure not to disappoint. Be on the look out for Tegan and Sara in a city near you! A tour is on the way...
