TV to Talk About

There was more on Gossip Girl to talk about last night than the threesome between Dan, Vanessa, and Olivia (Hilary Duff). The episode also had some music to talk about!

Who knew T.I.'s sex talk in "Whatever You Like" could sound so beautiful? Or that someone would follow Meredith Brooks' lead and make a song about being a bitch? Or that Leighton Meester "the singer" was the complete opposite of Blair? And was that a Santigold at the end?

Check out--- Anya Marina's cover of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like," "Bitch" by the Plastiscines, "Somebody to Love," by Leighton Meester feat. Robin Thicke, and "Saga" by Basement Jaxx feat. Santigold--- below!

The Tim Burton You've Never Seen

A new exhibit is kicking off this month at the Museum of Modern Art in New York featuring never seen before work from director, writer, artist, and film producer Tim Burton, most known for films like "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Edward Scissorhands," and "Batman."

The exhibit features over 700 pieces-drawings, paintings and films- done over the span of Burton's career, some dating before fame. The gallery exhibit is titled simply "Tim Burton," and the film exhibition is titled "Tim Burton and the Lurid Beauty of Monsters." Burton has always found excitement in the unusual, and has used that to create the fantasies worlds in his films.

Tim Burton himself will be at MoMA for a book signing on the 18th of the month, and he will introduce the screening of his film "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," which will kick off the tribute showing of his films at the museum throughout November.

The exhibit ends in April 2010. Tim Burton's newest film "Alice in Wonderland" is also set to hit theatres in 2010.

For more information about the exhibit, check out the MoMA website.

Socializing with Saints

Tegan and Sara announced on their website the release of their new album, Sainthood Social last week on October 27. This is the 6th album from the sisters, and it explores faith and love, something which both of them have grappled with in their lives, even with each other. For their past albums, most of the writing was done separately, as the two of them live on opposite sides of the country.

Sainthood
was an opportunity for the two sisters to write the album together side by side the way nature intended. The album is described as electro-pop, with that 80's feel that has been creeping up in music lately. Whether you're a die hard T and S fan, or a sporadic listener, this album is sure not to disappoint. Be on the look out for Tegan and Sara in a city near you! A tour is on the way...

Carlos Falchi at Target

Another legendary designer is bringing their talent to a Target near you. Carlos Falchi, known for his beautiful thousand dollar handbags, is bringing luxury to the masses. Falchi's bags are widely popular with celebrities, and have been featured in many movies, most notably Sex and the City. Carrie probably ate bread for a week to be able to afford a $2,000+ Falchi bag. If only she'd known that yesterday she would be able to talk into Target and purchase one for less than a tenth of the price.

Falchi is a purse guru, having been in the business for nearly 37 years, with his use of luxe leathers, exotic fabrics and unconventional silhouettes. His Target line will mimic his design style with faux leather, eye-catching colors, textures, and styles. Go to Target and feast your eyes on handbag beauty, and get your hands on one of these prized pieces.

Prices range from $19.99 to 49.99
